Hasard Cidre

A garden full of apple trees, ample apples, a passion for (drinking) cider, what better than make your own?

Welcome to the Hasard Cidre Holiday Rentals - actual Hasard Cider blog. It is not intended to be a commercially available cider, we make it purely for our own pleasure (not yet quite). If you are staying at one of the properties - you will surely get the chance to taste it.. Maybe we should distill the juice rather than try to make a cider... Any advice on the whole cider making process is welcome..

We came up with the name, Hasard Cidre, after a few: based on the French, par hasard, the English, hazard, and of course our childhood favourite moonlight producers, the Dukes of Hazzard.. It reflects the produce:

Lethal and no idea what the next bottle will taste like - and we bottle it in whatever glassware we can get our hands on..

“Hasard Cidre - no idea what it will taste like, but we definitely try drinking it.”

We have started picking and collecting the apples for the 2019 harvest. Will be a busy few months. Contemplating whether to press the apples ourselves this year or contacting the mobile cider pressing truck..

The standard Wix text says that "Writing a blog is a great way to position yourself as an authority in your field and captivate your readers’ attention".

That is not really the idea of the Hasard Cidre blog - we are definitley not an authority in cider making and quite the opposite, welcome any and all advice. We don't really know what we are doing, but like drinking cider!
